Epyx 500XJ joy stick

I haven't had to to test this stick yet, but I suspect one of the AXIS points is broken. I believe the Joystick should "Self Center" when not in use, but it looks like the Axis point in the lower Right hand side is shot and the stick slumps there.I haven't had the time (nor the inclining) to pull it apart and/ or test it. It is the "ONE" fire button model.
